Example RPM App
Ovok Care is the runnable mobile example in the Ovok developer path. Start with synthetic data, then connect an authorized sandbox Patient account and supported Bluetooth devices when you are ready.
The app has four tabs. Each guide below describes the user experience and links to the TypeScript that implements it.
| App tab | What it does | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Today's measurement and check-in tasks | Explore Home |
| Diary | Readings and check-ins captured on this phone | Explore Diary |
| Support | Device instructions and troubleshooting | Explore Support |
| Settings | Appearance, device pairing, and Patient sign-in | Explore Settings |
Demo readings are synthetic and remain on the phone. They are kept separate from Patient records and cannot be uploaded. The example is an implementation reference, not a clinical product or a substitute for project-specific clinical review.
Get started
- Run the app from scratch: install the project and launch its iOS development build.
- Connect a sandbox project: configure public app settings and sign in with an authorized Patient account.
Explore the app
Follow the patient-facing flow through Home, Diary, Support, and Settings. The app tabs are also linked from Get Started on the Ovok docs home.
Learn from the implementation
- Patient authentication: where the app gets its tenant context and signs in a Patient.
- FHIR persistence: how QuestionnaireResponses and typed measurements are saved through
@ovok/core. - Bluetooth measurements: how
@ovok/nativediscovers supported devices and returns normalized readings. - Local data and sync: how the example separates demo data, persists Patient entries, and handles retry.
These pages are an app-level walkthrough. Use the React SDK docs and Mobile SDK docs for package installation, reusable APIs, and full references; the example app shows one way to compose them into a product.
