Learn what Ovok does, create your first app, and pick the path that fits what you're building.
Ovok is a FHIR backend for medical apps. It stores your clinical data as FHIR R4, brings readings in from supported devices, and hands vital signs to Signals for alert decisions.
Your team builds the patient and clinician experience. Ovok runs the data, device and alerting layer underneath.

Actimi Signals
OptionalEvaluates eligible readings and returns alert decisions through Ovok.
Only for patients enrolled in Signals- FHIR data. Patients, devices, observations and the rest live as FHIR R4 resources, with focused routes for common monitoring workflows.
- Devices. Readings from supported blood-pressure monitors, sleep radars, SpO₂ monitors, urine analysers and wearables arrive as observations you can read live or as history.
- Care operations. Projects and sub-projects organise patients, devices, thresholds and teams.
- Alerts. For patients enrolled in Signals, an MDR Class IIa medical device, Ovok forwards eligible vital signs and brings the alert decisions back into your app.
Choose your SDK
| SDK | Package | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| JavaScript | @ovok/core | Web apps and TypeScript services |
| React Native | @ovok/native | Mobile apps, Bluetooth devices, health-data sync |
| Java | com.ovok:ovok-sdk | JVM services |
| Python | ovok-sdk | Services, scripts and data work |
| Flutter | ovok_sdk | Dart and Flutter apps |
Every SDK speaks to the same API, so you can also call it directly: start with authentication and the FHIR resources.
