Step by step: build your own apps on Ovok

Use these walkthroughs to turn a care idea into a patient and clinician experience on Ovok. Each guide starts with a product workflow, then maps it to project setup, mobile screens, FHIR data, device readings, and the clinician view. Use @ovok/native for React Native experiences and @ovok/core for shared Ovok API and data workflows.

A shared foundation

Each example follows the same foundation: create a project, shape the patient workflow, build the app with the SDKs, store clinical data as FHIR resources, and give care teams a clear view of the information they need. For products using Signals, all vital-sign data is sent for alert evaluation and the resulting decisions are surfaced through Ovok. Non-clinical products can opt out.

These are implementation guides, not clinical protocols. Set thresholds, care pathways, and escalation rules with the responsible clinical team before using them with patients.
