rpm-ehr-example-app

rpm-ehr-example-app is a standalone React, TypeScript, and Vite reference app for one-clinic CHF remote patient monitoring operations. It demonstrates how an EHR-style workflow can use Ovok FHIR records alongside the patient mobile app and clinician dashboard.

The app opens in a synthetic demo. Connect a sandbox project only when you have an authorized Practitioner account and project setup. This is an example, not clinical software: demo people and readings are synthetic; the app is not certified medical software and does not provide medical advice or clinical decision support.

What it demonstrates

  • A clinic workbench for patient intake, care-team assignment, monitoring enrollment, and device provisioning.
  • Practitioner sign-in through @ovok/core, including MFA, and paginated search of accessible Patients.
  • Patient registration in sandbox with a FHIR Patient create followed by a separate invitation request.
  • Patient charts with accessible measurements, QuestionnaireResponses, CareTeams, CarePlans, DeviceUseStatements, and Consent status.
  • Sandbox creation of a CareTeam, CHF RPM CarePlan, or DeviceUseStatement when the current account's AccessPolicy permits it.
  • Read-only Signals settings and open alerts.
  • Links to the companion RPM dashboard using an opaque Patient ID; the receiving app authenticates and checks access independently.

The source tour links to the standalone rpm-ehr-example-app. Its capability-gap report lists behavior that is intentionally absent or unverified.

The RPM example monorepo includes this EHR with the patient mobile app and clinician dashboard. The apps use Ovok for sandbox clinical records; the local relay shares synthetic demo measurements only.
