LOCKED

Troubleshoot an Ovok resource that is temporarily locked for changes.

HTTP 423. Problem type: https://docs.ovok.com/errors/locked.

What this means

The resource is locked and cannot be changed now. The lock may be associated with another operation or a workflow described by the endpoint.

Troubleshooting

Confirm that the request targets the intended resource and check the endpoint's guidance for lock ownership or lifecycle. If another process is updating the resource, allow it to finish instead of starting competing updates. Avoid rapid polling or repeated writes while the resource remains locked.

Retry safely

Wait for the lock to clear, read the resource again, and confirm that it is still appropriate to apply your change. Then retry once. If the lock remains unexpectedly, ask an administrator to check its state.

If the problem persists

Share the HTTP status, problem type, request path, response timestamp, and traceId with your administrator or support contact. Do not include access tokens or sensitive patient data. The Error responses guide explains the response fields and field-level errors.
