# Slim APIs

`ovok.slim()` groups the care home routes. Methods return a `JsonNode` or a `Page<JsonNode>`, and request bodies accept a `Map` or a `JsonNode`.

Sub-namespaces cover residents (`patients()`), `devices()`, `notifications()`, `thresholds()`, `trends()`, `sleep()`, `locations()`, `zones()`, `exports()`, `changeHistory()`, `projects()`, `policies()`, `organizations()`, `practitioners()`, `users()` and `health()`. Every method is in the [`SlimResource` reference](/java-sdk/reference/slim-resource).
