# NOT_IMPLEMENTED

Canonical page: https://docs.ovok.com/errors/not-implemented

**HTTP 501.** Problem type: [`https://docs.ovok.com/errors/not-implemented`](https://docs.ovok.com/errors/not-implemented).

## What this means [#what-this-means]

The requested operation or integration is unavailable in this deployment. A configured endpoint-specific machine code may instead identify a feature that is not configured; see [feature not configured](/errors/feature-not-configured).

## Troubleshooting [#troubleshooting]

Confirm that the route and operation appear in the documentation for the API version and deployment you are using. Check that your client is not calling an operation from a newer or different API. If the operation should be available in this environment, ask the project administrator whether deployment configuration or feature availability differs from your expectation.

## Retry safely [#retry-safely]

Do not retry until the operation is supported in the target deployment or the endpoint instructions identify a corrective setup step. A request with the same route and body cannot enable an unimplemented operation.

## If the problem persists [#if-the-problem-persists]

Share the HTTP status, problem `type`, request path, response timestamp, and `traceId` with your administrator or support contact. Do not include access tokens or sensitive patient data. The [Error responses guide](/errors) explains the response fields and field-level errors.
