# GONE

Canonical page: https://docs.ovok.com/errors/gone

**HTTP 410.** Problem type: [`https://docs.ovok.com/errors/gone`](https://docs.ovok.com/errors/gone).

## What this means [#what-this-means]

The requested resource or action is no longer available. The endpoint may use this response for an item or action that has expired, been consumed, or been retired; consult its documentation for the exact lifecycle.

## Troubleshooting [#troubleshooting]

Confirm the environment and identifier, then check the endpoint's documented lifecycle and whether the action has already been used or revoked. If the request came from a saved link or an earlier workflow step, verify that it is still current. Avoid repeatedly submitting a stale identifier or reusing an expired action.

## Retry safely [#retry-safely]

Use the current resource or start a new supported workflow if the endpoint allows it. Do not assume that refreshing the same link or replaying the same request will restore an unavailable action.

## If the problem persists [#if-the-problem-persists]

Share the HTTP status, problem `type`, request path, response timestamp, and `traceId` with your administrator or support contact. Do not include access tokens or sensitive patient data. The [Error responses guide](/errors) explains the response fields and field-level errors.
