# Delete a localization

`DELETE /localization/{language}/{key}`

Deletes one key in one language, or in every language when you name the default language.

**Auth:** bearer token.
**Scope:** the caller's project (from the token). Localizations are read and written with your token.

## Behaviour

- `language` must be one of the languages in your project's locale settings (`GET /locales`).
- If `language` is the project's default language, the key is deleted in every project language. Otherwise only that language's entry is deleted.
- Deleting a key that does not exist succeeds and changes nothing.
- The response has no body.
