# Delete content

`DELETE /cms/{type}/{language}/{key}`

Deletes a content item, or all its translations when you name the default language.

**Auth:** bearer token.
**Scope:** the caller's project (from the token). Only items in that project are deleted.

## Behaviour

- `type` is one of `blog`, `video`, `audio`, `template` or `export-template`.
- If `language` is the project's default language, the item is deleted in every project language. Otherwise only that language's item is deleted.
- Deleting a key that does not exist succeeds and changes nothing.
- The response has no body.
- The route is also served under `/internal/cms/{type}`.
